A recovery safety device designed to protect bystanders, passengers and vehicles in the event that a rope, strap, cable or recovery point fails. The risk is reduced as it dampens a flailing cable, rope or strap.
The Recovery Blanket should be filled with loose sand or snow, to help bring the blanket along with the strap, rope or cable to the ground. Do not fill the recovery blanket with rocks or weights. If a recovery point fails the rocks or weights will become dangerous projectiles.
