Cargo track or round anchor points are used to make a platform for single or double studs to be utilise as an anchor point on the back of pickups, SUV’s, trailers, trucks or the inside of delivery vehicles. Using the track will afford the option to move the studs to different positions to the desired anchor point for tying down of transported goods.

The single point anchor has a 500 KG work load limit (WLL) and the double anchor point has a 1000 KG work load limit. Even though the anchor points have a high work load limit, it is important to take into consideration the WLL limits of the attachment points used to secure the cargo track to the roof rack, bakkie or trailer.

Unrated ‘d’ shackles should not be used during a recovery as the shackle is not designed to withstand the stresses and angle of the forces during a recovery. Only use rated alloy recovery bow shackles.
